Do not substitute a general internet timetable for the exact instructions of the adhesive, tape, scalp barrier, and installation method used.
LHS AFTER-INSTALLATION GUIDE
The First 48 Hours
Protect the finish while the attachment settles. The exact water, sweat, pressure, and cure window must follow the adhesive label and the instructions given by your LHS service partner.
THE FOUR PRIORITIES
Keep the attachment dry, calm, clean, and low-friction.
Until cleared, avoid activities that soak the attachment area. If light moisture appears, blot gently and allow the scalp and base to dry.
Repeatedly pressing, lifting, scratching, or adding an unconfirmed adhesive can disturb the installation and make later cleanup harder.
Damp hair, a damp base, and prolonged pillow friction increase tangling and attachment stress.
INTERACTIVE AFTERCARE PLANNER
Choose the wear method and base family
This plan organizes safe priorities. Your installer’s product-specific water, exercise, sleep, and cure instructions remain the final reference.

- BASE-SPECIFIC CARE
COMMON FIRSTS
Wait for clearance—then keep the first routine gentle.
First shower
Use the exact waiting window confirmed for the installed adhesive or tape. When cleared, keep water pressure and temperature controlled, avoid rubbing the attachment zone, and dry the scalp, base, and hair completely.
First workout
Do not use a generic hour count. Resume heavy sweating only after product-specific clearance. Blot moisture rather than rubbing, and do not trap a damp attachment under a tight hat.
First styling
Detangle from the ends upward, support the hair near the base, keep heat controlled, and keep oily or conditioning products away from the attachment area unless specifically approved.
First edge check
Look without pulling. If an edge lifts, shifts, feels sticky, or collects unusual residue, do not add a random adhesive or scrape the area. Photograph it and contact the service partner.
FIRST-NIGHT CHECKLIST
Sleep dry. Reduce friction. Leave the bond alone.
The goal is not to make the system rigid; it is to avoid unnecessary moisture, pulling, compression, and tangling while you sleep.
- 01Dry completely
Do not go to bed with wet hair, a damp scalp, or moisture trapped under the base.
- 02Detangle gently
Use the approved brush or comb, begin at the ends, and support the hair rather than pulling against the base.
- 03Minimize friction
A smooth, clean pillow surface and a loose protective style can reduce rubbing and tangling. Avoid tight caps or tension.
- 04Follow the removable-wear plan
If the system was designed to be removed before sleep, use the confirmed release, cleaning, and storage routine instead of sleeping in it.
DO NOT WAIT
Contact the service partner when the result is not settling normally.
Stop adding products and obtain qualified guidance if discomfort, burning, swelling, or irritation is unexpected or increasing.
Do not press the system down with an unconfirmed adhesive. Protect the area from pulling and arrange a professional check.
Persistent trapped moisture, unusual odor, or residue needs review before more products, heat, or pressure are applied.
Stop handling if the base stretches, tears, rolls, or the hair becomes severely tangled near the attachment zone.
PROTECT THE INSTALLATION
When in doubt, pause and confirm.
Do not solve a first-48-hours problem by adding more adhesive, remover, oil, heat, water, or pressure without product-specific guidance.
