LHS LUXURY HAIR SYSTEM

LHS BONDING & RELEASE GUIDE

Adhesive & Removal Guide

Plan the bonding family, application zone, and release path before installation. Exact product compatibility and timing must always follow the product label and your LHS service partner.

BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

Match the base, wear pattern, scalp, and remover.

There is no universal tape, liquid adhesive, or remover for every person and every system. Use this guide to organize the decision, then confirm the exact product instructions before use.

01Base construction

Lace, Poly Skin, and hybrid systems need different handling at open, smooth, and combined zones.

02Wear pattern

A removable daily setup has different priorities from an extended professional bond.

03Scalp condition

Do not bond over cut, broken, irritated, or actively inflamed skin. Stop if a product causes burning or a strong reaction.

04Removal compatibility

The product used to release the system may differ from the cleaner used to remove remaining residue.

INTERACTIVE BONDING PLANNER

Choose the wear pattern and base family

The result is a planning direction—not a product prescription. Confirm the exact adhesive, remover, patch-test method, and waiting time from the manufacturer label or your service partner.

01
PREPARE

Start with clean, calm skin

02
SELECT

Match the product to the base and wear goal

03
APPLY

Use only the intended bonding zone

04
RELEASE

Let the remover release the bond

05
CLEAN & RESET

Clean the scalp and base separately

TAPE OR LIQUID?

Choose by control, finish, service plan, and compatibility.

01 · TAPE

Pre-formed adhesive zones

Tape can provide controlled placement, clean contours, and a straightforward starting point for many removable or perimeter-bond plans.

  • Avoid touching the adhesive surface
  • Place only on compatible base zones
  • Release with an approved product before lifting

02 · LIQUID

Custom coverage and hairline work

Liquid adhesive can create a continuous bond area, but layer thickness, drying or curing, skin preparation, and removal must follow the exact product instructions.

  • Use thin, even application only as directed
  • Do not place the system before the label-defined readiness point
  • Confirm the compatible remover before bonding

CONTROLLED REMOVAL

Release first. Lift second. Clean last.

Pulling against a dry or resistant bond can damage the base, shed hair, and irritate the scalp. The remover should do the work before the system is lifted.

  1. 01Pause and inspect

Do not proceed over broken or irritated skin. Identify the bonded zones and base material first.

  2. 02Apply the approved release product

Target the bonded perimeter or zone. Keep the product away from eyes and follow the label precautions.

  3. 03Allow it to work

Wait for the label-defined saturation or release point. Add more only if the instructions allow it.

  4. 04Lift slowly without resistance

If the bond resists, stop and repeat the approved release step. Never pull harder to compensate.

  5. 05Separate scalp and system cleanup

Use only compatible cleaners for each surface, then wash and dry as directed before rebonding or storage.

SAFETY CHECK

Treat adhesives and removers as product-specific chemicals.

Patch test new products

Follow the manufacturer’s patch-test instructions before full application, especially with sensitive skin or a new formula.

Ventilation and ignition safety

Use in a ventilated area and keep any product marked flammable away from heat, sparks, and open flame.

Never mix unconfirmed cleaners

Do not combine removers, solvents, alcohols, or scalp products unless the product instructions explicitly permit it.

Stop for a strong reaction

Remove the product as directed and seek appropriate professional or medical advice for persistent burning, swelling, or irritation.

PROFESSIONAL CONFIRMATION

Confirm the exact bond before installation.

Your service partner should confirm the specific adhesive, base zone, remover, skin preparation, and maintenance plan for the installed system.
