BEFORE YOU CHOOSE
Natural means proportionate—not simply low.
A believable hairline should integrate with the temple recession, side hair, forehead proportions, density, and intended haircut. The final position and contour must be confirmed by LHS from measurements, a mold, and clear reference photos.
A slightly higher, softer contour often looks more believable than an aggressively low line.
A custom mold records the proposed front position, temple points, center mark, and coverage perimeter.

What LHS needs to review the front design
Front-facing photo
Keep the camera level, show both temples, and avoid a tilted head or wide-angle distortion.
Both profile views
Side views help confirm how the proposed contour should connect with the remaining temple and side hair.
Marked mold
Mark front, back, center line, temple points, preferred hairline, parting, and hair direction clearly.
COMMON MISTAKES
Avoid a contour that looks designed instead of natural.
A very low line can conflict with mature temple recession and facial proportions.
A rigid horizontal edge can appear artificial when the side connection and micro-irregularity are ignored.
A widow's peak should usually remain subtle and proportionate rather than becoming a dramatic point.
Real faces and temple areas are not perfectly mirrored. A custom contour may need controlled asymmetry.
